Bulova
Bulova "developed" it's first alarm movement 12-B in 1954 based on Junghans J89 movement. In fact, that movement is identical to Junghans, the only difference is that Bulova's 12-B has 17 jewels, whereas Junghans J89 has 20. In 1956 Bulova developed it's own movement 11 AERC which seems simmilar to AS 1475. However, those two movements are quite different in technical details.
Bulova 12-B
Bulova 12-B is identical to Junghans J89, so for instruction manual please refer to Junghans subsection.
Please note that Bulova stated "Germany" on the dial so they confirmed that it uses German (Junghans) movement.
Bulova 11 AERC
11 AERC has a joint spring barrel for time and alarm.
Instruction manual:
Upper crown in position 0. winding the time and alarm.
Upper crown in position 1: setting the time
Lower crown in position 0: setting the alarm (recomended only anti-clockwise). Alarm is turning off in this position.
Lower crown in position 1: Alarm On.
