Hanhart PRIMUS Desert Pilot Review: Follow-Up on What Happened Next

Published on 4 September 2023 at 18:27

Two months ago I published a review about Hanhart Primus Desert watch where I pointed out some imperfections on the dial. Since then, quite a lot has happened.

First, Mark from Seriouswatches contacted me to apologise for not noticing those imperfections before sending me the watch. He immediately reached out to Hanhart to inform them about the issue and asked for permission to share my personal details with the brand.

Just a few days later, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a very personal email from the CEO of Hanhart. He expressed embarrassment upon seeing the photos of my dial and sincerely apologised that such a watch was delivered to me.

Hanhart and their team then arranged for the watch to be picked up. Despite the holiday season, the dial was replaced with a flawless new one and the watch was promptly returned to me.

My dial now looks perfect! You can compare the old and new dials in the photos below.

Since my last review included a rather foggy photo that raised some questions about the quality of the date window (which, in reality, had no issues—just my poor photography skills), I decided to share a clearer photo of the date window as well.

The entire response from everyone involved—Seriouswatches as the seller and Hanhart as the manufacturer—demonstrates that these companies truly care about their customers and uphold high standards.

With that in mind, and considering the conclusions from my initial review, I felt it was important to provide you with this update.

Of course, I also want to sincerely thank all parties involved for taking my concerns about the dial imperfections seriously and for responding so promptly and professionally.
