For sale is the Breitling Chronomat 44 Airborne, a special anniversary edition released in 2014 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Chronomat collection, originally introduced in 1984.

This special edition pays tribute to Breitling’s aviation heritage and its historic connection with the Italian Air Force aerobatic team, Frecce Tricolori. The solid stainless-steel caseback features the inscription “Edition Spéciale 30e Anniversaire” alongside an engraved silhouette of an Aermacchi MB-339 aircraft, making this more than just a standard Chronomat.

The watch combines a bold 44 mm stainless-steel case with a distinctive rotating bezel featuring four raised rider tabs. Inside is Breitling’s highly regarded in-house Caliber B01 automatic chronograph movement, officially certified as a chronometer by COSC and offering an impressive power reserve of approximately 70 hours.
